Linktone achieves profitability in Q4 2008Published: 19 Mar 2009 00:57:39 PSTMar. 19, 2009 (China Knowledge) – Nasdaq-listed Linktone<LTON>, a Shanghai-based provider of interactive entertainment products and services, today released its fourth quarter financial report, which shows that the company realized US$0.6 million in net profit, following a net loss of US$2.3 million in the previous quarter, sources reported.In Q4 of 2008, Linktone’s revenue was US$19.4 million, compared with US$16.6 million in the third quarter of 2008 and US$14.7 million in the fourth quarter of 2007.The company’s annual report for fiscal year 2008 shows that its gross revenue reached US$67.0 million, up 35% from one year earlier. Its net profit from continuing operations in 2008 increased to US$4.3 million, following a net loss of US$7.5 million recorded in the previous year.
